This could be for you if...
- You use AI most days and feel like you're only scratching the surface
- One day you get a brilliant result, the next you get beige sludge, and you cannot work out why
- You have a growing collection of chats, prompts and experiments, with no reliable way of scaling this into a system
- You are making decisions about AI for other people and want more first-hand experience yourself, or someone knowledgeable to sense-check your thinking with
- You have a real piece of work that keeps stalling because there is never enough time to work out how AI could help
- You want someone who can think strategically with you, then get into the tools and help build the thing
You do not need to arrive with a beautifully packaged use case. Bring what is in front of you or top of mind.
What we might work on
- Setting up Claude or ChatGPT with the context it needs to work effectively alongside you as a "thinking and doing" partner
- Finding a better way to analyse a pile of documents, research or business information
- Improving a recurring decision, planning or reporting process
- Turning an ad hoc experiment into a workflow you can trust and keep using
- Working out where AI belongs in your role and where it really doesn't
- Building the judgement to lead AI use across your team or organisation
Every week moves real work forward. There is no fictional company called Acme Industries and no gold star for completing generic prompt exercises.
Working together
Engagements start at two months | NZD 7,000 + GST
Two months gives us enough room to get into one meaty problem or opportunity, make real progress, and build the AI methods and judgement you need to keep going.
The engagement is a mix of live working sessions, async work, and me researching, configuring and building in the background. The balance depends on what we are tackling. We agree the scope and finish line before we begin.
If your work needs more room, or one priority leads naturally into the next, we can build from there. We will agree the next piece together rather than locking you into a longer programme upfront.
Frequently asked questions
What is one-to-one AI coaching?
Honestly, coaching is only part of it.
I learn how you think, work and make decisions. Then we use your live business priorities to build practical AI capability. Some days I will coach you through the thinking. Some days I will advise you on the strategic call. Some days we will be elbow-deep in Claude or ChatGPT building something together.
The point is that you get meaningful work done and become much better at using AI while we do it.
Do I need technical skills?
No. You need a real problem or opportunity, curiosity, and a willingness to experiment.
What will we build?
That depends on you. It could be a configured AI set up, a playbook, a research or analysis workflow, a small working tool, or a combination of those. We build what will move the needle for you fastest. The goal is to build muscle and momentum. Substantial software development or automation implementation can be scoped separately.
Which AI tools do you work with?
Mostly Claude and ChatGPT as the most capable and cost effective solutions in market. I also work with Microsoft 365 Copilot or Gemini when your organisation requires it, you prefer it, or the work calls for it.
My approach is tool agnostic. We are building you a personal system that is grounded in best practices and can be easily moved into other platforms when the time is right. "Own the playbook, rent the tech" is my mantra. We will make practical choices based on the accounts you can access, and any security or IT boundaries we need to respect.
Can we work together remotely?
Yes. I work remotely with leaders across New Zealand and internationally. You get a private coaching hub, and we meet over Microsoft Teams or Google Meet.
